Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office: A Data Analytics Project

In 2020, Twin City Web Solutions provided several services to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Offices (FCSO). The primary objective of the project was to enhance the social media presence of the FCSO. We used data from the agency’s Facebook page to provide data analytics. As a result, we provided assessments and strategic recommendations. Our case study provides a more thorough discussion of our methods on this project.
Project Results
We leveraged the data from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Facebook account to increase average engagement by 186%, average reach by 127%, and minimum reach by 196%. Thus, the FCSO could better communicate information to the general public.

Twin City Web Solutions provided a detailed assessment of the FCSO’s reach and engagement on Facebook using data from their Facebook page, U.S. Census Bureau data and information about social media platforms from the Pew Research Center.

Data analytics also gave us the abiliity to recommend adjustments to the timing, tone, and channels used for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office social media posts.
